ICELAND
The unpredictability as a gift
I had a route in mind, places I wanted to see, but not much expectation. Those first hours in Reykjavik felt uneventful, grey, like the trip would simply follow its course without surprises. I had no idea what the next days were holding.

As we drove further from the city, I realized how wrong I was. The landscape kept transforming. By the second morning, we woke up surrounded by snow.

These images hold some of that energy. I'm not someone who chases landscapes. I chase the road. And with every kilometer, the force of nature revealed itself a little more.

The wind blew hard, sometimes the only sound for miles. Rain, sun, snow — each minute brought a different sky.

Lunar terrain. Black sand. I came back from Iceland genuinely changed by the raw brutality of it all. I still think about the places I didn't reach, and when I'll be able to return.
